IN THE HIGH COURT OF HIMACHAL PRADESH, SHIMLA Execution Petition No. 1047of 2025 Date of Decision: 29.7.2025 _____________________________________________________________________ Kehar Singh and Ors. ……...Petitioners Versus Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd. and Anr. …....Respondents Coram Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sandeep Sharma, Judge. Whether approved for reporting? For the Petitioners: Mr. Sandeep Pandey, Advocate. For the Respondents: Mr. Virender Singh Kanwar, Advocate. ___________________________________________________________________________ Sandeep Sharma, J. (Oral) While placing on record copy of Office Order dated 7.7.2025, issued under the signature of Superintending Engineer, Operation Circle, Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd. Rampur Bushahr, learned counsel for the respondents states that in terms of judgment sought to be executed, respondents have rejected the representation of the petitioners with an observation that as and when vacancy arises and petitioners become eligible for promotion, necessary steps would be taken to promote them. 2 2. Having perused aforesaid order dated 7.7.2025 vis-à-vis mandate contained in the judgment sought to be executed, this Court finds that mandate contained in the judgment sought to be executed stands duly complied with. 3. Though Mr. Sandeep Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners, attempted to argue that office order is not in conformity with the mandate contained in the judgment sought to be executed, but this court is not persuaded to agree with him for the reason that correctness of order passed in purported compliance of judgment sought to be executed, cannot be seen in the instant proceedings, which are only meant to ensure compliance of the judgment sought to be executed, rather for that purpose, petitioners may have to file substantive petition, if aggrieved. 3. Consequently, in view of the above, present petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents to ensure that needful, for promotion as has been agreed to be done, is done expeditiously, failing which petitioners would be at liberty to get the present petition revived so that appropriate action in accordance with law is taken towards implementation of the order/judgment.
