Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, wherein the writ petitioner has made the following main prayer:- "i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the Respondent no. 2 and 3 to issue a new passport with correction in the Date of Birth and the residential address of the Petitioner, expeditiously." 3. It appears that there is a medical emergency, wherein the petitioner is required to travel abroad. 4. Keeping the same in mind, we direct the Regional Passport Officer, Lucknow, to grant an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner on November 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM, wherein the petitioner should appear before the authority concerned along with proof of all the relevant documents. 5. On submission of all the documents and this order, the authority concerned is directed to reissue the passport with the corrections within a period of two weeks from the date of the personal hearing. If the documents are not found correct, a reasoned order should be passed by the authority concerned within a period of one week from the date of personal hearing.
