Heard Sri Shitla Prasad Tripathi, the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records. 2. By means of the instant petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India the petitioner has sought issuance of a direction to the learned Civil Judge, Junior Division, Gonda to decide Civil Suit No.1880 of 2021 expeditiously. 3. The aforesaid suit has been filed for cancellation of sale deed and perpetual injunction. The order sheet filed along with the petition reveals that the defendant filed vakalatnama on the last date i.e. 13.10.2025 whereafter the matter was posted for filing written statement on 08.12.2025. 4. In these circumstances, when the defendant has filed vakalatnama on 13.10.2025 and the matter has been posted for 08.12.2025 for filing written statement while it was pending since the year 2021, no direction for expeditious disposal of the suit can be given at this stage. 5. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of leaving it open to the petitioner for filing an appropriate application for expeditious disposal of the suit before the learned trial court itself at the appropriate stage.
