For the Respondents: Mr. Anup Rattan, Advocate General, with Mr. Ramakant Sharma, Additional Advocate General & Mr. Gautam Sood, Deputy Advocate General. ____________________________________________________________ Sandeep Sharma, Judge (oral): Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, states that the petitioner would be content and satisfied if directions are issued to the respondents to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 15.02.2026 (Annexure P-7), wherein a prayer has been made regarding amendment of the Recruitment & Promotion Rules dated 11.02.2026 for the post of Draughtsman by providing a quota of 1%. 2. Mr. Gautam Sood, learned Deputy Advocate General, while putting in appearance on behalf of the respondents, fairly states that he is not averse to aforesaid innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner. 3. Consequently, in view of the above, this Court without going into the merits of the case deems it fit to dispose of the present petition with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide representation dated 15.02.2026 (Annexure P-7) of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 a period of eight weeks.
