Heard Ms. Savita Jain, learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite parties. 2. Present petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India has been filed challenging order dated 23.09.2025 whereby petitioner's representation for couple posting in terms of Government Order dated 06.05.2025 has been rejected. A further prayer for a direction to authority concerned to consider petitioner's transfer to Hardoi/Kannauj or Shahjahanpur has also been sought. 3. Upon consideration of submissions advanced and from material on record, It is evident that petitioner had earlier filed WRIT - A No. - 10027 of 2025 which was disposed of vide order dated 02.09.2025 directing authorities concerned to take a decision with regard to petitioner's application for couple-posting. 4. It is also evident from a perusal of impugned order that petitioner in his representation had sought posting at three palaces being Shahjahanpur, Kannauj or Lucknow. 5. A perusal of impugned also makes it evident that petitioner's representation has been rejected only on ground that he has remained posted continuously in District Hardoi/Lucknow Division for the past 13 years and therefore his posting in such places is not permissible. 6. However, it appears that there is absolutely no discussion with regard to options submitted by petitioner pertaining to Districts Shahjahanpur and Kannauj. Learned State Counsel has been provided written instructions dated 31.10.2025, a copy of which is taken on record but the same is also silent with regard to two options furnished by petitioner. 8. In view of aforesaid facts and circumstances, opposite party no.2 i.e. Director (Administration), Medical and Health Services, Swasthya Bhawan, Lucknow is directed to reconsider petitioner's application, particularly with regard to required posting to Districts Shahjahanpur or Kannauj in terms of couple posting as provided in paragraph 5of Government Order dated 06.05.2025. 9. The decision with regard to same shall be taken within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. The impugned order dated 23.09.2025 shall be subject to final orders passed on the representation to be decided by authority concerned. 10.
