Page No.# 2/3 By this application, the petitioner has prayed for pre arrest bail in connection with Dispur P.S Case No. 189/2025 under Sections 318(4)/316(2)/316(4) of the BNS, 2023. The FIR dated 05.07.2025 reveals that the petitioner had offered to sell a plot of land to the informant and that he took a consideration for the said sale after executing an agreement but thereafter, it is alleged that although the petitioner had returned an amount but the balance of was not returned to the informant which shows that the agreement was cancelled and the informant further stated that although she had asked the petitioner to return the money but he and his wife threatened her. The petitioner was enlarged on bail on 01.09.2025 on the condition that the petitioner would appear before the Investigating Officer within a period of 7 days from the date of the order and in pursuance of the said condition, the petitioner had appeared before the I/O within the stipulated time and his statement was recorded. This shows that the petitioner has cooperated with the investigation and as such, this Court finds it fit that the interim order dated 01.09.2025 may be made absolute with a further direction that the petitioner may comply with the directions given in the said interim order.
