Gogoi, learned counsel for the informant. Page No.# 2/3 By this application filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 the petitioner, viz., Sri Lakshya Pratim Bora has prayed for bail in connection with All Women P.S. Case No.70/2025 registered under Section 69 of the BNS, 2023. The F.I.R. dated 12.08.2025 reveals that the petitioner on a false promise to marry the victim had indulged in sexual relation with her for the last 6/7 years. It is also alleged that the petitioner has extracted money from the informant and that later the petitioner started distancing himself from the informant and told her that he will not maintain relationship with her. Mr. T. R. Sarma, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a law student and that there was a love relationship between the petitioner and the victim and has submitted that the complainant (victim) had filed an affidavit before the police for withdrawal of the said case. Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Addl. P.P. for the State submits that the ingredients of Section 69 of the BNS is well attracted in the instant case and this can be seen from the F.I.R. as well as the statement of the other witnesses. Mr. T. Gogoi, learned counsel for the informant has placed the affidavit by which the informant had stated on oath that she wants to withdraw the F.I.R. and had requested the authorities for granting bail to the petitioner. On the basis of the aforesaid submissions and more so on perusal of the statements of the witnesses and the F.I.R. this Court deems it fit that the petitioner may be released on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.20,000/- with one local surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Page No.# 3/3 Magistrate, Kamrup (M) under the following conditions :- (1) That the petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation and shall appear before the I.O. as and when called for. (2) That the petitioner shall not tamper with the evidence and shall not influence the witnesses connected with the case. The Bail Application stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
