(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, states that he be permitted to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to file representation to competent authority for cancellation of transfer order dated 4.8.2024 (Annexure P-2)/adjustment at nearby station. 2. Consequently, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to file representation to the competent authority within a period of one week, which in turn shall be decided by the competent authority within a period of one week. Needless to say, authority concerned, while doing the needful, shall afford an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner and pass speaking order thereafter taking note of the transfer policy formulated by Government - 2 - of Himachal Pradesh. Till the time, representation, if any, filed by the petitioner within a period of one week, is not decided by the competent authority, he shall not be compelled to join at the transferred station. Liberty is reserved to the petitioner to file appropriate proceedings in appropriate court of law, if he still remains aggrieved. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
