GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: 2 “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd and 3rd respondents in interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioners by calling to the police station and harassing, without any crime registered against the petitioners and in connection with FIR No. 84/2018 dt. 10.09.2018 on the file of PS Ballikurva, Prakasham District, as illegal, arbitrary, against the principles of natural justice and against the settled principles of law apart from being violative of law laid down by Honourable Supreme Court in Arnesh Kumar Case and consequently direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to not to harass the petitioners.” 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would submit that the Police are not calling the Petitioners to the Police Station and not harassing them in connection with Crime No.84 of 2018 on the file of Ballikurva Police Station, Prakasam District. 3. Sri B.Chandrasen Reddy, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 4. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Police not to call the Petitioners to the Police Station relating to Crime No.84 of 2018 on the file of Ballikurva Police Station, Prakasam District, in the absence of their names in the said crime. There shall be no order as to costs.
