It is submitted that the petitioner has been arraigned as Accused No.6 in Crime No.29 of 2024 for the alleged offences under Sections 419 and 420 read with Section 34 of the IPC and Section 66(C) and 66(D) of the IT Act. It is submitted that the following bank accounts were frozen: Savings Bank Account No.923010016141941 in Axis Bank, MVP Colony Savings bank, Vishakhapatnam. Savings Bank Account No.155516111985 in Indusind Bank, MVP Colony Branch, Visakhapatnam. Current Account - Indus Premier Bank Account No.259861299999 1. 2. 1. ii. III. in Indusind bank, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam It is submitted that an amount of Rs.5,00,000/- was credited to the Axis It is further submitted that there were no 3. Bank Account (Account No.1). deposits in other two accounts. The petitioner is unable to operate his day-to day activities and run his business due to the freezing of the said accounts. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the lien can be restricted to the amount of Rs.5,00,000/- credited to the Axis Bank account. 4. Heard the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. Recoding the submissions, this criminal petition is disposed off, by directing the 2"^^ respondent to issue appropriate notices to the concerned banks 5. 6. for de-freezing the bank accounts. However, a lien of Rs.5,00,000/- on the Axis /T\ 3 HN, \ Crl.P.No.5474_2025 % Bank account shall remain in force till completion of the investigation or until further orders from this Court. 7. With these observations, the Criminal Petition is disposed off. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, st^l stand closed.
