Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite parties. 2. Present petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India has been filed seeking challenge to order dated 25.07.2025 whereby petitioner has been transferred from Kushinagar to Jhansi. Also under challenge is order dated 29.10.2025 rejecting petitioner's representation for posting in Prayagraj, Varanasi or Lucknow Divisions. 3. Learned State Counsel has not yet been provided any instructions. 4. From a perusal of impugned order, it appears that although petitioner's three options have been indicated in impugned order but have not been considered and his representation has been rejected primarily on ground that petitioner has already spent more than eight years and eight months in Gorakhpur Region. 5. Considering aforesaid facts that options provided by petitioner have not been considered, liberty is granted to opposite party no.2 i.e. the Special Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies Department U.P., Lucknow or any other competent authority to consider and decide petitioner's representation for posting in Prayagraj, Varanasi or Lucknow Divisions. in terms of his options. The decision with regard to same shall be taken expeditiously within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Ramesh Kumar Srivastava, Ravi Pandey Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
