The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is seeking quashment of Crime No. 18 of 2022, registered under Sections 420, 493, 312, 376 read with Section 34 of the IPC Section 3(1 )(r) of the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the 1®* petitioner and the 2"^^ respondent were in a relationship while living in Dubai, and that various allegations have been made against the petitioners based on that relationship. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the police have issued a notice under Section 41-A of the Cr.P.C to the petitioners. It is also submitted that Accused No.1 has been absconding since the date of registration of the complaint. Considering the submissions, this Court is not inclined to interfere at this juncture. The police shall complete the investigation in accordance with law. 2. 3. 4. 5. Accordingly, the criminal petition is disposed off.
