BORDOLOI, SC, REVENUE AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT DEPT,MR.M U MONDAL(R-4),GA, ASSAM BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR MEDHI ORDER 25-06-2025 Heard Shri S. Nath, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Shri H. Sarma, learned Addl. Senior Govt. Advocate, Assam as well as Shri M. U. Mondal, learned counsel for the respondent no. 4. The matter relates to correction of land records. The writ petition was instituted in the year 2017 and the order-sheet reflects that almost a year back the petitioner no. 1 had passed away and till now no steps have been taken for the substitution. Even on the last occasion, when this matter was listed on 30.04.2025, time was granted to the learned counsel to take steps. Shri Nath, the learned counsel has however fairly submitted that the clients are not in touch with him. In view of the aforesaid situation, this Court is of the opinion that the Page No.# 3/3 petitioners are not interested to pursue this case any further. The petition is accordingly dismissed for want of prosecution. Registry is directed to send the records of the Assam Board of Revenue. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
