The Petitioner herein contested to the post of Adhyaksha of Mudigere Town Panchayat (Respondent No.4) to the elections held on 01.03.2025 in terms of Annexure-G. 2. It is submitted that, the petitioner has won the elections and is now the Adhyaksha of Mudigere Town Panchayat. 3. The Petitioner in the above Writ Petition had challenged the inclusion of Respondent No.5 in the voters list to the said elections. 4. Now that the elections are complete and that the Petitioner has succeeded in the election, the above Writ Petition has become infructuous and in view of the same, the Petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the above petition. WHEREFORE, the Petitioner most humbly and respectfully prays that this Hon'ble court may be pleased to take the memo on record and permit - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:8962 WP No. 5592 of 2025 the Petitioner to withdraw the above Writ Petition, in the interest of justice and equity."
