Mr. L.N.Sharma, learned Additional Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents in both the matters. 2. These writ petitions have been filed for grant of 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? - 2 - almost common reliefs, which have been extracted from CWP No. 10454 of 2025 :- “(a) That the writ in the nature of mandamus or any other directions may kindly be issued, to the respondents to grant the benefit of I", 2nd and 3d ACP on completion of 4, 9 and 14 years of regular service in the cadre of PET from due date i.e., 03.07.2013, 03.07.2018 and 03.07.2023 with all consequential benefits in terms of the instructions dated 09.08.2012, 07.07.2014 & 09.09.2014. B That Writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or directions may be issued to directing the Respondents to also pay the consequential arrears alongwith interest @9% per annum..” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the issue involved and the reliefs prayed for by the petitioners have already been adjudicated in Sanjay Kumar Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh and others2. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners would be content if the cases of the petitioners are considered by the respondents in light of the aforesaid judgment within a time bound schedule. Learned Addtional Advocate General has no objection to this prayer. 4. Having regard to above submissions but without 2 CWPOA No. 5536 of 2020, decided alongwith connected matters on 01.11.2023 - 3 - examining the merits of the matter, these writ petitions are disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the cases of the petitioners in light of the aforesaid judgment and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
