Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Balumath P.S. Case No. 16 of 2025, corresponding to G.R. Case No.366 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 111(3), 111(4), 308(4), 308(5) & 61(2) of the B.N.S and Sections 25(1-B)(a)/26 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned C.J.M., Latehar.
On 15.02.2025 at about 11.15 A.M., Balumath Police apprehended this petitioner and co-accused persons while they had assembled near a forest land at Bukru Railway siding. It is alleged that the accused persons had assembled there and were making preparation for demanding rangdari. It is alleged that three mobile phones were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since 15.02.2025. It was further submitted that two co-accused persons namely Sagar Turi and Laxman Ganjhu have been granted bail by this Court earlier.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Latehar, in connection with Balumath P.S. Case No. 16 of 2025, corresponding to G.R. Case No.366 of 2025.
