By means of the instant petition, the petitioners have sought issuance of a direction to the respondent/opposite party No.2 - District Magistrate, Sultanpur to transfer the fire arm license of the petitioners' father, in their name. 3. The petitioners have submitted an application in this regard on 15.11.2021 on FORM A-1 (Schedule- III of the Arms Act) and when no action has been taken thereon, they have submitted a representation dated 29.09.2025 to the District Magistrate, Sultanpur but no action has been taken thereon. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed off by issuing a direction to the respondent No.2- District Magistrate, Sultanpur to pass appropriate orders on the petitioners' representation dated 29.09.2025 for transfer of fire arm license of their father in their favour, expeditiously in accordance with law, say within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. .
