“...to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, declaring the action of respondents No.2 and 3 to consider the petitioner seniority and pay the arrears and wages and granting ail consequential benefits, as being illegal, arbitrary, violation of Articles 14, 21 of the Constitution of India and also violation of principles of natural justice Consequently, direct the respondent authorities to consider the petitioner representation dated 03.10.2024 and 18.09.2024 in accordance with law, and granting the petitioner all consequential benefits. Consequently, direct the respondents to communicate their decision on the petitioner representation within a time frame as fixed by this Hon'ble Court, and to pass such other order or orders....” Heard Sri K.Sai Pratap, learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. learned Government Pleader for Service-ll for respondents 1 and 4 and Sri A.Rama Rao, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.2 and 3. Petitioners joined as Drivers in respondent-Corporation in the

1996. Later, as they were removed from the service on allegations of fabrication of license, they approached Labour Court which passed an award directing the respondents to reinstate the petitioners into service. Accordingly, they were reinstated into service and they got regularized in the year 2009. Petitioners have now made representations dated 03.10.2024 and 18.09.2024 claiming payment of wages and arrears for the period from
1 3 HCCRJ W.P.No.l3718of 2025 27.06.1996 to 28.06.2006, under which period they were out of service.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it would
4. suffice to direct the respondents to consider their representations and pass appropriate orders. Sri A.Rama Rao, learned Standing Counsel on the other hand
5. submits that claim of petitioners relate to the period of 1996 to 2006. Petitioners have slept over for almost more than eighteen years and now come up with representations in the year 2024 making claim of amounts. At any rate, petitioners are not entitled for such claims. He would further submit that as representations of petitioners’ are pending, same would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law.
6. In view of aforesaid
submissions, without expressing any opinion on merits of the matter, with the consent of both the learned counsel the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on petitioners’ representations dated 03.10.2024 and 18.09.2024 strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
