Heard Mr. M. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor for the State respondent. 2. By this petition, the petitioner has prayed for pre-arrest bail in connection with GD No. 67 dated 23.07.2025 entered into Dispur Police Station. Page No.# 2/3
3. On the last occasion, the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor was directed to bring the information as to whether any case is registered against the petitioner in the Dispur Police Station and in compliance of the said order, Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor has submitted an intimation given by the Sub- Inspector of Dispur Police Station, in which it was stated that a complaint was lodged against the petitioner and others by one Arvin Kumar at Dispur Police Station, regarding fraud business agreement and in pursuant to that complaint, an enquiry is conducted against the petitioner and others. It is also intimated in the said letter that although no case is registered against the petitioner and others but it is found that the petitioner and others were not co-operating with the Police. 4. Mr. M. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he got 2 numbers of notices, one on 16.08.2025 and the other on 21.08.2025, by which the petitioner was called to the Police Station on different dates and it was also stated to him that if he does not appear, appropriate actions will be taken against him. As such, the petitioner apprehends arrest in the instant case. 5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels for the parties and in view of the notices issued, this Court deems it fit to release the petitioner on pre-arrest bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- with 1 local surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority under the following conditions:-

The petitioner will appear before the Investigating Officer within 7 (seven) days from today and will co-operate with the investigation. 2. The petitioner will not temper with the evidence or influence any other witnesses connected with the instant case. Page No.# 3/3
3. The petitioner will not leave the place of residence without the permission of the arresting authority. 6. Accordingly, the Anticipatory Bail Application stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
