Petitioner while Kandivalasa Village, Pusapatirega Mandal has been placed under 17.08.2024, Crime No.211 of 2024 Srikakulam, for the offences 420 and 506(2) of the Indian Penal Code respondent also issued charge later, appointed Inquiry Officer. Petitioner i working as Panchayat Secretary iin Vizianagaram District, suspension by proceedings dated on account of his involvement in a criminal case in on the file of l-Town Police Station punishable under Sections 376, 417, 1860. Simultaneously, the 1 memo dated 27.08.2024 and IS participating in the said 3 HCGR,J W.P.No.l3716of202S departmental proceedings. Be that as it may, petitioner has later % St submitted representation dated 22.04.2025 requesting the 1 respondent to review the suspension in terms of G.O.Ms.No.22 General Administration (SER-C) Department, dated 29.02.2024, the same is stated to be pending with respondent. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the suspension of petitioner need to be reviewed at the end of every six months in terms of G.O.Ms.No.22, General Administration (SER-C) Department, dated 29.02.2024, petitioner has made a request on 22.04.2025, which has not considered so far. Therefore, it would suffice to direct the 1®* respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the aforesaid request. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for 5. respondents on the other hand submits that the request of petitioner for reviewing the suspension would be considered in terms of G.O.Ms.No.22, General Administration (SER-C) Department, dated 29.02.2024. 6. In view of aforesaid submissions, without expressing any opinion on merits of the matter, with the consent of both the learned counsel the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the 1®* respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on petitioner’s request dated 22.04.2025 for reviewing the suspension, strictly in terms of G.O.Ms.No.22, General 4 HCGRJ W.P.No.l3716of2025 Administration (SER-C) Department, dated 29.02.2024, within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
