Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel, who appears on behalf of State-Respondents. This petition has been filed with the following main prayers : "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the impugned order no. 3788-93 dated 09.10.2025 passed by the opposite party no 2, (Contained in Annexure No. 01). (ii) Issue a writ order or direction in nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party no.2 to not give effect the impugned order dated 9.10.2025 passed by opposite party no.2. (iii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to reinstate the petitioner license in respect of Bhang Shop." We have gone through the order dated 09.10.2025, which is a notice inviting an online tender for a Bhang shop and Annexure No. 2 to the writ petition, which is also dated 09.10.2025. It has been issued from the office of the Licensing Officer/District Magistrate, Gonda rejecting the petitioner's claim for cancellation of the petitioner's Bhang shop. Learned Standing Counsel states that the petitioner has a statutory remedy of filing an appeal under the U.P. Appeal and Revision Rules, 1968.
