The prayer made in the instant writ petition appertains to issuance of directions upon the respondents to provide trees from nursery and to pay the amount for digging pits and also to pay compensation in respect of pits, which got damaged in rainy season. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, in the year 2024, the petitioners enrolled themselves in “Van Mitra Scheme”, as launched by the Government of Haryana. In pursuance to the assurance purveyed by the Government of Haryana in its scheme (supra) for making payment of Rs.20 per pit and for supplying saplings for plantation, the petitioners dug pits and uploaded their photographs on the portal, however, neither any payment was made, nor any saplings were provided. Consequently, the petitioners made several representations, one of which is enclosed as Annexure P-4 in this writ petition, for redressal of their grievance, as canvassed in this writ petition, however, no action was taken thereon. At this stage, without evincing any opinion about merits/demerits of the instant writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent No.2 to, within three months from today, make a final decision on the petitioner’s representation (Annexure P-4). 4.
