G.P. for Finance Planning The Court made the following: 2 W.P.No.13749 of 2025 ORDER: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following relief: “…to issue a writ of mandamus, or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, declaring the action of the respondents in withholding the payment of bill amount of Rs.62,68,339.67/- in relation to the work i.e., “Construction of new Rythu Bazar at Repalle vide agreement No.125/2023-24, dated 20.09.2023” as illegal and arbitrary apart from violative of Articles 14, 16, 19 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to consider for payment of bill amount of Rs.62,68,339.67/- with an interest @24% per annum for the delayed amount to the petitioner in respect of execution of above mentioned work, forthwith and pass…” 02. Since it was reported on 07.07.2025 that the bill for payment of amount to the petitioner had been uploaded in the C.F.M.S. portal vide bill No.825335-2025 on 14.06.2025, the learned counsel for the petitioner requested to pass appropriate order giving reasonable time to the respondents to finally make the payment. 03. In view of the admitted liability and the fact that bill is pending with the respondents, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to release the total amount under the aforesaid bill within two (02) months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. There shall be no order as to costs. 3 W.P.No.13749 of 2025 Interim orders granted earlier, if any, shall stand vacated.
