The petitioner is challenging the denial of retirement benefits and the pension benefits inspite of the petitioner attained the age of superannuation. 2. The petitioner worked as a Telephone Operator in the respondent and attained the age of superannuation. During the service of the petitioner, the petitioner faced civil proceedings for recovery of amounts and also cases under Section 138 of NI Act. It is alleged by the petitioner that the relatives and some of the colleagues have generated promissory notes and filed civil cases for recovery and also filed several cases against the petitioner. Though there were no orders restraining the respondents from releasing the WP.No.27471 of 2012 service benefits. The respondents have not released the service benefits and aggrieved by the same, the writ petition is filed. 3. The respondents in their counter submitted that the petitioner has given undertaking to the respondent authorizing them to deduct from her terminal benefits, the amounts claimed by various persons and who have also obtained the Court decree and requested to release the balance terminal benefits due payable to her. 4. On instructions of the learned standing counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner is to receive terminal benefits of Rs.6,21,255/- whereas the attachment orders of an amount of Rs.11,67,877/- and placed the instructions received from the respondents. It is submitted that on account of the value of attachments is more than the amount received by the respondent, the terminal benefits would not be released. 5. Recording the same, the writ petition is closed, no costs.
