Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. 2. This petition under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the accused-petitioner, namely, Faizul Islam, praying for grant of bail in connection with Bihpuria P.S. Case No. 112/2025 corresponding to GR Case No. Page No.# 2/2 507/2025 registered u/s 61(2)/318(4)/316(2)/3(5) of BNS, 2023 added sections 179/180 of BNS, 2023. 3. The case arose out of an ejahar dated 31.05.2025 lodged by police officer regarding recovery of counter fake Indian currency from the petitioner. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has pointed out the length of detention and also drawn my attention to copy of order dated 12.08.2025 passed by this Court in BA 2462/2025 regarding grant of bail to co-accused, Sohidul Islam. 5. Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor opposing the bail submits that in the meantime, charge-sheet has been submitted against the petitioner and the aforementioned co-accused; who as noted above has been granted bail. 6. Considering the length of detention and completion of investigation and the aspect of granting bail to the co-accused - the accused person named above seeking bail herein is allowed to go on bail of Rs.20,000/- with one suitable surety of like amount each to the satisfaction of concerned learned court subject to the following conditions that the petitioners: (a) shall not abscond and maintain peace. (b) shall not indulge in any illegal activity. (c) Shall not hamper or tamper evidence 7. Violation of any of the conditions might entail cancellation of the bail. 8.
