The present contempt case has been filed alleging wilfully and deliberately violation of the order of this Court dated 17.06.2019 passed in W.P(C) No.6519 of 2018 whereby and whereunder a direction has been issued to the concerned respondents (opposite parties herein) to 2025:JHHC:27558 2 decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such representation/application in accordance with law. 2. In pursuance to the order dated 20.08.2025 the opposite party nos.2 to 8 are present in the Court. 3. At the outset, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, has submitted that he does not want to press the present contempt petition as in pursuance to the order of this Court dated 20.08.2025 a reasoned order has been passed by the authority concerned on 28.08.2025. 4. This Court, considering the fact that a reasoned order has been passed by the authority concerned on 28.08.2025 appended as Annexure-B to the show cause dated 04.09.2025, is not inclined to proceed further in the present contempt case. 5. However, the reason for delay has not been explained in the show cause and, as such, this Court is of the view that the officer concerned is to be more cautious in future in the matter of compliance of the Court’s order. 6. In view of the above, the present contempt case is closed and disposed of as such. 7. The personal appearance of the opposite party nos.2 to 8 are dispensed with. (Sujit Narayan Prasad, J.) Sudhir
