Mr. Raman Jamalta, learned Standing Counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. Petitioner retired from services of the respondent-Corporation on 31.05.2017. His grievance is that even though the criminal case registered against him has culminated in his acquittal and he has also been exonerated from the charges leveled against him in the departmental proceedings, yet, the respondents have not released him the due and admissible retiral benefits. Yes. 2 despite the fact that the petitioner had represented to the respondents on 21.05.2025 (Annexure P-5) with his aforesaid grievances. 3. At this stage, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the representation preferred by the petitioner shall be examined by respondent No.1 in accordance with law and benefits, if due & admissible to the petitioner, shall be released within three weeks. 4. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents to examine the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 21.05.2025 (Annexure P-5) in accordance with law by taking appropriate action thereupon and in case the petitioner is found entitled to the retiral benefits, the same may also be released in his favour within three weeks from today, i.e. by 22.07.2025. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
