This application has been filed under section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Page No.# 2/2 Suraskha Sanhita, 2023, whereby the accused petitioner namely, Ayan Das, has prayed for bail in connection with Bazaricherra P.S. Case No. 77/2025 under Section 331(8)/310(2)/118(2) of BNS, 2023. 3. The accused person has been in under trial detention since 24.07.2025. The main materials as per forwarding report, at the time of his arrest, are that he purchased the looted jewellery items from the mother of the accused who was also arrested and then sold the said jewellry to another person. 4. The allegations in the FIR dated 26.05.2025 inter alia stating that some miscreants illegally entered into the house of the informant and committed robbery of valuable articles. 5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State produced the case diary and submits that the present accused was shown arrested in another criminal case of similar nature. One medical report of Sailen Paul is available in the case diary, which indicates injuries allegedly upon physical assault by sharp weapons resulting grievous in injuries. It is also pointed out that significant incriminating materials are found against the petitioner in the case diary. 6. In said facts and circumstances and considering the serious nature of the allegations and the significant incriminating materials, it would not be appropriate to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, bail application stands rejected at this stage. 7. Send back the case diary. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
