HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW WRIT - A No. - 12899 of 2025 Court No. - 18 HON'BLE SHREE PRAKASH SINGH, J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Anurag Kumar Singh, learned counsel for respondent nos. 2 to 4, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State and perused the record. The present petition has been filed challenging the order dated 29.08.2025 by virtue of which the petitioner has been transferred from one department to other department of Lucknow University. The grievance of the petitioner is that after a show cause notice was issued, within a short span of time, he has been transferred, in more than 2 and 3 departments of the University. The submission of counsel for the petitioner is that the University authorities are harassing the petitioner while issuing frequent transfer orders in animosity. Learned counsel for the respondent-university submits that the petitioner is Class-IVth employee and looking into the exigency of the work, he has been transferred from one department to another department in the campus of Lucknow University and no prejudice is caused to him as neither his service benefits are reduced or interfered into nor any adversarial affect thereof. Upon considering the submissions of counsel for the parties, it is apparent that the petitioner has been transferred from one department to other department in the campus of Lucknow University and that transfer order is under challenge. Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Zeeshan Ali, Badre Alam, Deepak Kumar Pandey, Hasan Zehra Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C., Anurag Kumar Singh Shri Kamal Kishore Kashyap .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Higher Education Lko. And 3 Others .....Respondent(s)
I noticed that neither any remuneration is changed nor any prejudice is caused to the petitioner from transfer order in the departments of the Lucknow University, in the campus itself. The writ petition lacks merit. Hence, the instant writ petition is hereby dismissed. Consigned to the records. November 6, 2025 Mayank WRIA No. 12899 of 2025 2 (Shree Prakash Singh,J.)
