By means of the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India the petitioner has sought issuance of a direction for payment of scholarship for B.Ed. second year course which the petitioner has pursued during the academic session 2021-22. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the scholarship was paid to the petitioner during the session 2020-21 when the petitioner pursued B.Ed. first year course but the scholarship has not been paid to her for the second year of the course. 4. The learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel has drawn attention of the court to an order dated 07.11.2023 passed by the State Information Commission which is annexed as Annexure No.8 to the writ petition, wherein it is recorded that opportunity was given to the appellant to produce copies of online scholarship application of the petitioner and also to provide its registration number and date of birth but same were not provided. This appellate order was passed on 07.11.2023 and the instant writ Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Suman Lata, Anita Singh Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Priyanka Soni .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Technical Education Council Lko. And 2 Others .....Respondent(s) petition has been filed on 01.12.2025 without any explanation for this inordinate delay in fling the writ petition. 5. The learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel has submitted that in view of the unexplained latches as also in view of the failure of the petitioner to provide the relevant information the writ petition cannot be entertained. 6. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner had provided all the requisite documents but she could not substantiate this submission. 7. Accordingly, this court is of the considered view that it appears from the record that the petitioner herself had failed to provide relevant documents/information as demanded in the year 2023 and she has approached this court in the year 2025 without absolutely any explanation for the delay, as such, no interference can be granted by this court. The writ petition lacks merit and the same is accordingly dismissed. December 3, 2025 Ram. WRIC No. 11744 of 2025 2 (Subhash Vidyarthi,J.)
