Against the rejection of petitioner's application for grant of caste certificate, remedy of the petitioner would be to approach the District Level Caste Scrutiny Committee , constituted in terms of the judgment of the Supreme Court in Kumari Madhuri Patil Vs. Additional Commissioner, (1994) 6 SCC 241. It is provided that if such an approach is made to the higher authority, the same shall be entertained on merits and shall be dealt with, in accordance with law. Subject to the observation made above, this writ petition is consigned to records.
