Karibasaiah, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the District Revenue Officer, Anantapuram passed an order dated 29.03.2025, ordering to delete the Webland entries standing in favour of the petitioner in respect of the land in Sy.No.217 present Joint LPM No.383 Ext.Ac.3-50 cents and Sy.No.215-1 present Joint LPM No.335 Ext. Ac.1-08 cents, Sirivaram Village & Mandal, as there is no substantial evidence to that she has title/ownership of the land in question to incorporate the 2. prove webland entries in favour of rightful owners. Further, the Tahsildar, Garladdine was directed to take necessary action for webland corrections as per ROR Rules & Records. Challenging the order dated 29.03.2025, the present writ petition is filed. 3 N WP No.12661 of 2025 Sri K. Srinivas, learned counsel for Respondent No.6 supported the 3. order of the District Revenue Officer/Appellate Authority in all respects and requested to dismiss the writ petition. On the other hand, while learned Government Pleader for Revenue 4. submitted that an appeal lies under the ROR Act, 1971 before the District Collector against the order passed by the District Revenue Officer within a period of 30 days from the date of communication of such order and requested to relegate to prefer an appeal as per the Act and approach proper authority under the statute and requested to dismiss the Writ Petition. Heard Sri Karibasaiah, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Revenue, Sri K. Srinivas, learned counsel for 5. Respondent No.6 and perused the material available on record. Since the petitioner approached this Court without availing the statutory 6. remedy under the Act, the writ of mandamus as prayed by the writ petitioner cannot be granted. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach appropriate authority by way of an Appeal under Section 5(4) or 5-B of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, within a period of three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
