GP FOR SERVICES II 2 HCGR,J W.P.No.12843 of 2025 The Court made the following order: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief/s:- “…to declare the action of the 1st Respondent in not considering and disposing the Appeal dated 14-03-2016 filed against the Final Seniority List bearing Memo Roc.No.A-ll(4)145/2014, dated 05- 12-2015 and further representation dated 17-03-2025 as illegal, arbitrary by issuing appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly in the nature of Mandamus and consequently direct the 1st Respondent to consider the appeal of the petitioner dated 14-03-2016 filed against the Final Seniority List bearing Memo Roc.No.A-II(4)145/2014, dated 05-12-2015 and further representation dated 17-03-2025 forthwith and to pass such other order or orders.…” 2. Heard Sri K.Rama Subba Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-II for respondents. 3. The limited grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that 1st respondent has not disposed of the appeal presented on 14.03.2016, which challenges the final seniority list issued on 05.12.2015. Therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction to 1st respondent to dispose of the same. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondents submits that if still pending, the appeal before 1st respondent will be disposed of expeditiously. 5. In view of aforesaid submissions, without expressing any opinion on merits of the matter, with the consent of both the learned counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, 3 HCGR,J W.P.No.12843 of 2025 directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal, if still pending, by passing appropriate speaking orders, after providing due opportunity of hearing to petitioner, within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
