THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner is the absolute owner of a immovable property bearing No.60/2, old Khata number 986, new Khata number 2725, situated at Dasarahalli Village, K.R.Puram Hobli, Bangalore East Taluk, measuring 50 X 30 feet. The petitioner purchased the property under registered sale deed dated 27.09.1995. However, various lands, including the land in question have been notified and acquired by the Bangalore Development Authority for the formation of Arkavati layout. Having regard to the directions issued by this Court in WP No.51929/2014 and connected matters dated 27.09.2021, all revenue site holders were permitted to make representations to the Bangalore Development Authority seeking allotment of alternative sites. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:17744 WP No. 6278 of 2025 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has approached the Court appointed Committee, namely Justice K.N.Keshavnarayana Committee and the members of the Committee have informed the petitioner to get the information from the Bangalore Development Authority regarding the acquisition of the site belonging to the petitioner. The petitioner has given a representation to the Deputy Commissioner, Land Acquisition, Bangalore Development Authority at Annexure-B and thereafter, the petitioner had also filed WP No.18190/2014 seeking consideration of the said representation dated 08.03.2003. This Court had directed the respondent-BDA to consider the representation. 3. Having regard to the facts narrated hereinabove, this Court is of the considered opinion that the petitioner should be permitted to give a fresh representation to the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Bangalore Development Authority. The petitioner shall give - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:17744 WP No. 6278 of 2025 all the requisite information regarding the ownership of the property in question. As and when such a representation is given to respondent No.3-SLAO, the SLAO shall forward the same to Hon'ble Justice K.N.Keshav Narayana Committee, which shall consider the grievance of the petitioner and pass suitable orders of recommendation. 4. The petitioner shall give such a representation to respondent No.3 within a period of two weeks from today. If such a representation is given, respondent No.3 shall forward the same to the Committee within a period of two weeks from the date on which the representation is given by the petitioner.
