Present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers:- “(i) A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondents to take a final decision on the recommendations made by Deputy Director and Assistant Director on 07.02.2022 and consequently pay the monthly salary of Rs.24000/- to the Petitioner as per G.O. No.1542 dated 08.10.2020 with consequential benefits 1 2025:UHC:6740 including arrears of difference of salary. (ii) Any other order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case. (iii) Award cost of the Petition to the present petitioner.” 2. Heard Mr. Sanjay Bhatt, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr. T.S. Bisht, learned Deputy Advocate General for respondent no.1 and Mr. Shubhang Dobhal, learned counsel for respondent nos.2 and 3. 3. As per the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, the present matter is covered by the order dated 29.07.2025, passed by the coordinate Bench of this Court in WPSS No.1229 of 2025. 4. Mr. Sanjay Bhatt, Advocate, has requested to decide the present writ petition directing the Competent Authority of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, District Udham Singh Nagar to decide the representation of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible for which the petitioner shall submit his representation within one week from today. 5. Mr. Shubhang Dobhal, Advocate, has sought four weeks’ time for the Competent Authority of the University to decide the representation of the petitioner. 2 2025:UHC:6740 6. On the request of learned counsel for the parties, the present Writ Petition (S/S No.115 of 2025) is disposed of with a direction that if the petitioner submits a fresh representation within one week from today, the Competent Authority of the University shall decide the same in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible but not later than four weeks’ thereafter. 7.
