Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 3. The petitioner had joined in the first respondent Corporation as Driver and retired from service on 31.07.2023. The petitioner was granted Dearness Allowance with 42% of basic pay as on 01.04.2023. However, with effect from 01.07.2023, it was revised to 46% of basic pay. Therefore, the difference in Dearness Allowance is entitled by the petitioner, since the petitioner had retired from service on 31.07.2023. 4. In view of the above, the respondents are directed to disburse the applicable differential sum of gratuity and leave encashment benefits with https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.41998 of 2025 interest at the rate of 6% per annum to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
