Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though now needful in terms of judgment dated 22.12.2023 has been done but because the payments released to the petitioner were beyond the period as was granted by the Court, the petitioner is entitled for interest thereupon in terms of the
judgment.
2. In light of the fact that payments indeed were made beyond the period granted by the Court, these proceedings are 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 2025:HHC:33778 closed, with the observation that let the interest on the delayed payment be paid, within a period of six weeks from today. In case, needful is not done within a period of six weeks from today by the Authority concerned, the petitioner shall be at liberty to file an application for revival of the execution petition and Registry shall not insist upon the application being accompanied by the affidavit of the petitioner. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of accordingly.
