[2] The present petition has been filed under Article-226 of the Constitution of India directing the respondents to dispose the sale deed dated 04.03.2025 presented for registration under Token No.202500007242, plot No.116/3637 land measuring 5 satak under Udaipur Sub-division. [3] The petitioners have prayed for the following reliefs: “(i) Admit the petition of the petitioner. (ii) Call for records from the custody of the respondents. (iii) Issue writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to dispose the presented sale deed dated 04.03.2025 for registration of the petitioners bearing Token No. 202500007242 dated 04.03.2025.” [4] The facts in brief are that the petitioners intended to purchase a land measuring 5 satak jointly under Khatian No. 1273 of Mouja- Dhwajanagar, C.S. Plot No. 76/1493, corresponding Hal Plot No. 116/3637 from (i)Sri Maran Nama, S/o Sri Rabindra Chandra Nama, (i) Sri Ratan Nama, S/o Sri Rabindra Chandra Nama and (iii) Sri Sri Rabindra Chandra Nama, S/o Late Ramani Nama. The above named petitioners already made payment to the vendor the consideration money for the above mentioned land and after completion of all official formalities, The sale deed was presented before the Sub-Registrar, Udaipur, Gomati Tripura, on 04.03.2025 for registration of the above mentioned sale deed. It is to be mentioned here that the petitioners also deposited the required fees for registration to the competent authority in time, and after receiving the registration fees, the competent authority issued the Token bearing No.202500007242 dated 04.03.2025. The petitioners being the purchasers waited for registration upto 03.09.2025, but no fruitful result has come, the petitioners seeing no other alternative made a written representation on 04.09.2025 to the Sub-Registrar, Udaipur, i.e. the respondent No. 3 herein to dispose their sale deed presented for registration on 04.03.2025 by them. The respondent No. 3 duly received the said representation on 04.09.2025, but till today they neither registered the above mentioned sale deed, presented by the petitioner on 04.03.2025 nor rejecting the same.. [5] Hence, the present petition has been preferred by the petitioners before this Court for redress. [6] In view of above and having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court is of the view that ends of justice would be met if the matter is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider representation filed by the petitioners within a period of one month from the date of receipt of the copy of this order, in accordance with law. However, whatever the decision is taken by the concerned respondent, the same may be communicated to the petitioners. [7] In that view of the matter, the present petition stands disposed of.
