The petitioner claims that she is the owner of the property (morefully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition). She also claims that she is in possession of the property. She has applied for patta in respect of the said property in her name through her representation dated 19.06.2025, submitted with the second respondent. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition. 3. Till date, no counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents. 4. The respondents contention is that, necessarily, the petitioner will have to submit fresh online application seeking for issuance of patta, since, application for issuance of patta can be processed by the respondents, only if online application is filed. 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.43511 of 2025 5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh online application seeking for issuance of patta within a time frame to be fixed by this Court and a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the said online application on merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders after hearing the objections, if any, of the neighbouring landowners as well as from any other third party, whom, the second respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation made by the petitioner. 6. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to submit fresh online application seeking for issuance of patta in her name for the property (morefully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition) within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
