The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chatra, Sadar P.S. Case No. 371 of 2020, for the offences registered under Section 18 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned PDJ-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Chatra. 3. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 10363 of 2024 by order dated 10.12.2024. 4. On 05.11.2020, motorcycle of the petitioner lying near Sheregarda Bridge was seized by the Chatra Sadar Police. On search, 2.500 kgs of opium were seized from the dicky of the said motorcycle. 5. It was submitted that charge has been framed in this case and two independent witnesses have been examined and they have not supported the prosecution case. 6. Considering the fact that commercial quantity of opium was recovered from the motorcycle of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
