The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the minutes of the meeting dated 16th October, 2020 issued by the Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Jila Parishad, Gumla-the respondent no.5 vide memo no.277, Gumla, dated 12th November, 2020, so far it relates to the petitioners, whereby the registration of the contractors of Jila Parishad have been cancelled with immediate effect. Further prayer has been made for issuance of direction upon the concerned respondent to dispose of the petitioners’ representations in the light of the order dated 16th April, 2024 passed by this Court in W.P. (C) No.458 of 2021. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that registration certificates under the new rules have already been issued to -2- W.P. (C) No.3774 of 2024 16 similarly situated contractors i.e. the writ petitioners of W.P. (C) No.458 of 2021 whose licenses were cancelled by the same notice. However, the petitioners’ representations (Annexure-4 series to the writ petition) filed for the said purpose on 18th January, 2021 and 19th June, 2024, have not yet been considered which has compelled them to prefer the present writ petition. 3. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering that the similar writ petition i.e. W.P.(C) No.458 of 2021 has already been disposed of by this Court vide order dated 20th June, 2024 recording the steps already taken by the respondent no.5 during pendency of the said writ petition, the respondent no.5 is directed to take up the representations filed by the present petitioners and to dispose of the same within six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order keeping in view the stand earlier taken by it. 4.
