The petitioner is working as a Junior Scientific Officer in the office of the Director General, Drugs and Copyrights, Drugs Control Administration, SMC Campus, Vijayawada. 2. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 10.01.2025 seeking sanction and release of additional increments for the additional qualification acquired by the petitioner. It is submitted that the respondents have issued proceedings in R.C. No. 10786/E1/2001 dated 07.12.2004 extending additional increments on acquiring additional qualification. It is submitted that the petitioner is entitled for additional benefits, as he has completed a Ph.D. in Microbiology.
In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents, which has not yet been considered. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that several employees had earlier filed Original Applications before the Administrative Tribunal, and the learned Tribunal had directed the respondents to release additional increments to which the applicants are entitled from the date of acquisition of higher qualification. It is submitted that the respondents have so far not passed any orders on the representation of the petitioner. The petitioner had earlier submitted a representation on 09.01.2023 as well. 4. The learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner had submitted a representation dated

09.01.2023 only and that the representation filed along with the writ petition does not bear any endorsement of the respondents. 5. Be that as it may, the petitioner shall submit a fresh representation to the respondents, and the respondents shall consider the same in accordance with the prevailing circulars, if any, which entitle the petitioner for additional benefits. 6. With this observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
