Counsel for the respondents also could not dispute that now the matter would be covered by the judgment of Apex Court, passed in SLP (C) Nos.1091-1092 of 2023 titled Kashmiri Lal Sharma Vs. Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd. & Another, decided on 03.04.2025.
2. Counsel for the appellant accordingly, submitted that the necessary modifications will have to be done, since the benefits have been given upto 60 years by the learned Single 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 Judge of this Court, which would go upto 31.05.2020 and the Apex Court has now restricted the same till 04.11.2019. She has also pointed out that in similar circumstances, we have also decided LPA No.274 of 2025 titled HPSEB Ltd. & another Vs. Sh. Rajinder Prasad Sethi decided on 30.05.2025, while noticing these facts and also the earlier decision passed by the Coordinate Bench in LPA No.243 of 2025 titled The Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited & another Vs. Raj Mal decided on 22.05.2025.
3. Accordingly, the present appeal is disposed off in the above terms by restricting the benefit till 04.11.2019, as directed by the learned Single Judge of this Court.
4. Counsel for the appellant very fairly conceded that the necessary amount will be disbursed within a period of one month. Her statement is taken on record.
5. All pending applications stand disposed of accordingly.
