ORDER: The present Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioner apprehending his property bearing D.No.9-25-70, that Gunduvari Street, Rajamahendravaram, East Godavari District, would be demolished for the purpose of road widening without issuing any prior notice and not following the procedure prescribed under Sections 146 and 147 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Act, 1955 and the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation Resettlement Act, 2013. and
2. Learned Standing Counsel on instructions submits that the marking was made only for the purpose of knowing the extent of the property required for the purpose of road widening and any action would taken according to law i.e., either by consent or by acquisition of the property.
3. In view of the above, the grievance of the Petitioner is redressed.
4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
