Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. The accused herein, namely, Hilal Ahmed Barbhuiya, who is stated to be in Page No.# 2/3 pre-trial detention since 16.07.2025, is seeking regular bail in connection with Silchar P.S. Case No. 668/2025 U/S 103(1) BNS. 3. The allegation in the FIR dated 01.07.2025 is that some unknown persons killed the elder brother of the informant. The present accused is stated to have been arrested during investigation or finding materials of his complicit. 4. The case diary has been received. 5. The learned Addl. P.P. submits that investigation has revealed a dispute between the deceased and the accused over a relationship that, it is revealed by the investigation and CDR analysis indicates its location that are around in the place of occurrence at the relevant time. 6. There are supposedly no eye witnesses to the occurrence. The case is based on the circumstantial evidence. It is also stated by the I.O. that the victim and the accused have quarrels earlier also. 7. Considering the length of detention, progress in investigation – the accused is hereby allowed to go on bail of Rs. 25,000/- with the one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned learned Court, subject to the following conditions that : (a) He shall not hamper and/or tamper with the evidence; (b) He shall not intimidate or harm the informant and his family; Page No.# 3/3 8.
