The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs :- (a) For issuance of appropriate writ(s) / order(s) /direction(s) upon the respondents for quashing of Memo No.-364 dated 09.06.2025, - 1 - W.P.C No.3294 of 2025 2025:JHHC:21023 annexed as Annexure – I, issued by the District Supply Officer, Ranchi, P.O. + P.S. Ranchi, Dist. Ranchi, Jharkhand whereby and whereunder the said signatory officer has cancelled the PDS License of the petitioner bearing License No.01/99, situated at Panchayat - Sodaag, Block -Namkum, Dsit. - Ranchi in concern to the allegation published by a stranger in the daily News paper Dainik Bhaskar regarding the malpractice of the goods allotted to the petitioner's shop under the Government scheme of the Chief Minister Sona Sobran Dhoti, Saree and on proof less finding of shortage of 110 pieces of cloths in his PDS shop from his allotment of cloths during physical investigation of the shop made by the constituted enquiry team. Though the said enquiry team has failed to making proper investigation of the said false and concocted allegation made by the stranger journalist and without getting any type of complaint or report from the real allotted beneficiary or consumer of his license shop and without taking any evidence of the real independence beneficiaries of the said government scheme which bad in law and against the principle of the natural justice. (b) further, to restore his PDS License No.01/99, Panchayat - Sodag, Block - Namkum, Dsit. - Ranchi which has been cancelled by the respondent mechanically for some ulterior motive which is bad in law and against the principle of the natural justice. 2. Learned counsel for the State has objected the prayer stating that there is provision for appeal. 3. In that view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to file an appeal before the - 2 - W.P.C No.3294 of 2025 2025:JHHC:21023 appropriate authority. 4. In view of above submission, the present writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid liberty. 5. Pending interlocutory application, if any, stands disposed of. (Rajesh Kumar, J.)
