Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Prashant Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the District Basic Education officer, Mr. Raghvendra Singh, learned counsel for the State. Present petition has been filed assailing the suspension order dated 12.8.2025 passed by the respondent no.2. Contention put forth by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has been suspended in the month of August 2025 and even after passing of three months, disciplinary proceedings has not been concluded. He submits that interest of justice would be sub-served if this Hon'ble Court is pleased to direct the disciplinary authority, i.e., the District Basic Education Officer, Ambedkar Nagar to conclude the disciplinary proceedings within stipulated period of time as may be fixed by this Court. Learned counsel for the respondents have no objection to the submission aforesaid. Be that as it may, without entering into the merits of the case, the respondent no.2- District Inspector of Schools, Ambedkar Nagar is directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order before him. It is provided that the aforesaid direction is subject to the co-operation of the petitioner in the disciplinary proceedings.
