GUNESHWAR SHARMA O R D E R 25-08-2025 [1] Heard Mr. Tungrei Ngakang, learned counsel for the petitioners/ applicants and Mr. Niranjan Sanasam, learned Government Advocate for the State respondents. [2] By the present petition, the petitioner prays for directing the respondents for conducting survey and demarcation of the land donated by Chungka Village to the Government of Manipur for establishment of Phungyar Block and not to release any compensation amount to any claimant including the private respondent until the survey and demarcation are completed. In this respect, the petitioners submitted a representation dated 29-04-2025 to the Deputy Commissioner, Kamjong to rectify and identify the legal owner of the acquired land for the construction of double land along NH-102A (Shangshak to tengnoupal-pkg-1) in respect of Chungka village and also submitted another reminder representation dated NINGOM BAM VICTORI A Digitally signed by NINGOMBAM VICTORIA Date: 2025.08.25 17:38:24 +05'30' WP(C) No. 646 of 2025 & MC(WP(C)) No. 602 of 2025 28-07-2025. It is submitted that the representations are pending with the Deputy Commissioner, Kamjong. Mr. Tungrei Ngakang, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that the writ petition may be disposed of by directing the Deputy Commissioner, Kamjong to dispose of and pass a speaking order to the pending representations submitted by the petitioners. [3] Mr. Niranjan Sanasam, learned Government Advocate for the State respondents, has no objection in disposing of the writ petition by passing an innocuous order. [4] Recording the submissions made at the Bar, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the Deputy Commissioner, Kamjong to consider and pass an appropriate order to the representations submitted by the petitioners within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Before releasing the amount with respect to the land under dispute, the petitioners as well as the other interested parties may be given an opportunity of being heard. [5] With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. MC(WP(C)) No. 602 of 2025 is also disposed of. [6] It is clarified that this Court does not express any opinion on the merit of the case.
