By way of the present petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding to Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 [“CrPC”]), the petitioner seeks to challenge the order dated 22.07.2024 passed by the Magistrate’s Court, whereby the petitioner was declared a “Proclaimed Offender”, as also the
order dated 20.08.2025, whereby the Magistrate’s Court dismissed the application seeking cancellation of Non-Bailable Warrants and dropping of proceedings under Section 82 of the CrPC.
2. The petitioner, Mr. Akshay Gupta, appears through video conferencing and seeks permission to withdraw the present petition.
