GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a writ order or direction more particularly, one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of Respondents No.2 to 5 in taking appropriate disciplinary proceedings against the respondents 6 and 7 pursuant to the 2 complaint/representation dt 24-8-2020 sent by the petitioner through registered post, as illegal, arbitrary, and violative of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the Respondents No. 2 to 5 to take appropriate steps against Respondents No. 6 and 7 pursuant to the complaint/representation dt24-8-2020.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a representation was submitted to the Superintendent of Police on 24.08.2020, requesting necessary action against respondents 6 and 7; however, no action has been taken on the representation till date. 3. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that they have not received any instructions in this matter. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the respondent No.4 is directed to look into the representation of the petitioner dated 24.08.2020 and take appropriate decision over the matter according to governing Rules and Law. In case, the representation is not available in the office of Superintendent of police, the respondent No.4 is directed to look into the representation which is filed along with the present petition. There shall be no order as to costs.
